Nat, sometimes the title comes first for me! I love hooking the reader with something intriguing, and I will pretty much always try to do this at the onset of the article, but sometimes I do it even before they know what the first words of the piece are (by way of the title).
Titles are really important determinants as to whether someone will spend their time reading our stuff, so I am sure a lot of writers will find interest in this.
