My thoughts upon reading this:

GPT-4 Turbo for Beginners.. - "Yay, that's me!"

...C# Developer's Introduction - "Aaaaand I'm out!"

Even though much of this sails well over my non-coding head, I do appreciate the useful, hands-on format.

Well done Nat!

Thank you for your kind feedback. .NET is my primary working environment. Given that there are already numerous guides about Python and other languages, I thought it would be beneficial to bring something fresh to the table.

Happy Tuesday, Daniel!

Nice one, Nat!

I noticed you have started a Patreon. I would be interested in learning about your decision behind choosing it and what your future plans are with it. Given that I've been facing numerous problems with payments, I have been looking for alternatives. I've used buymeacoffee.com, which is ok for one time payments, but we lose on the community feature provided by Substack memberships and exclusive benefits for people supporting our work.

Thanks for your kind feedback, Abhi. Unfortunately, Stripe isn’t available in my country, I had to search for an alternative. As per Substack’s official documentation, Stripe Atlas is suggested. This service facilitates the registration of a business in the United States, specifically in Delaware, and assists with the preparation of legal documents. The entire process via Stripe Atlas incurs a cost of $500. However, additional costs and numerous legal documentation procedures are also involved.

After analyzing this information with GPT4, we deduced that a blog should generate a minimum revenue of $5000 to justify the utilization of such a service.

On the other hand, Patreon offers a simpler solution. It supports PayPal, a reliable system that operates seamlessly worldwide. Patreon is designed with flexibility in mind. Despite a limited text editor, it allows you to establish your own online store and sell merchandise like t-shirts and courses. The advantage is that everything is in one place, eliminating the need for an external online shopping platform.

P.S. I will post a teaser on Substack and invite readers to read more on Patreon. This way I will keep both platforms. Post free stuff here and paid ones on Patreon.

cosa suggerisce, signora? 🤔

Clear and concise, Nat. The only thing I would recommend is look at how Stephen shares code snippets because the Substack default code block is really subpar.

Very kind of you, Alejandro. Thanks for the feedback. I'll look into it and indeed, the code block is a nightmare.

My pleasure, Nat. I'm also looking into writing some more coding-oriented posts so anything you learn will be useful for me too ;)

What a nice surprise this morning!!! Enjoying some coffee and this newsletter!!! I really like how the format and content are evolving. Know that I am taking notes for my own Substack. So are your Substack heading more toward GPT tutorials, or are you keeping the scope pretty broad at the moment? Once again, taking notes.
