What an extraordinary read, Nat. From your early years in war torn Georgia, all the way to enhancing ethics when interacting with AI. I knew a little about Georgia, and nothing about the idea that we are still involved in the development of AI, even when it has been made available. Well done. 👏✍️
Thank you for sharing a slice of your childhood with us in such a personal way!
Your "Dynamic Context Integration" approach has a lot of overlap with my draft of an upcoming post where I'll focus on something I might end up calling "Minimum Viable Prompt." The basic idea is pretty much DCI: You start with the bare minimum prompt that contains all the must-includes you can think of. Then you iterate further depending on what AI responds with. What I like about it is that it's a liberating method that doesn't put the pressure of "Getting it right the first time" on beginners. Also, it's equally applicable whether you're working with large language models or text-to-image tools.
Thanks for your kind feedback, Daniel. I absolutely agree with you, it's practically an ideal solution for beginners. I'm looking forward to reading your next piece!
My next piece is probably the usual monthly round-up of Midjourney prompts (more like modifiers), and the "minimal viable prompt" one should come in early February.
Nat: Your article is very informative, insightful and persuasive. You have demonstrated your expertise and passion for the topic and provided valuable information and advice for the reader. I enjoyed reading your article and learned a lot from it. I think you have done a great job of enhancing AI interaction through the art of communication! Well done!!!
Great piece, Nat! A few months ago, there was a discussion on reddit, and I saw people talking about respecting AI systems. Some people show their appreciation for ATMs. Some people show their appreciation for other digital devices. As you rightfully noted "respect for AI is not about the attribution of human qualities to machines but about fostering a culture of responsibility and consideration in the digital age." My heartfelt congratulations on crafting this material and keeping the same high-class level.
My son's going to be happy with this article. Thanks for this detailed journey. I'm new to prompt-engineering and just learned a lot of things. The whole article is a gem.
Your deep dives are exceptional but this one is absolutely phenomenal 👏👏👏
Nana, thank you so much! This truly means a lot to me.
I think I’ve just read the book “The art of storytelling”. Congratulations on crafting this masterpiece! Definitely my favorite piece!
David, I greatly appreciate your support and feedback and I'm thrilled to learn you liked it.
Kind regards,
Nat
